The Donor Moms Support Group was begun by two new moms in
   July of 2000 as a way for women who were pregnant, already moms or
   thinking about becoming moms from egg/sperm donation to connect
   and provide support for this family building option.  The first meeting
   drew 12 women and since that day more than 400 women have been
   to one meeting or dozens, all searching for support for this family
   building choice.
         The purpose of the Donor Moms peer support is to provide a 
   supportive place for women who are thinking of using donor gametes 
   to create their family, those who are pregnant and women who have
   acheived their goal of motherhood.
          We are a nurturing environment and provide a place to discuss
   your hopes and dreams in a supportive, non-judgemental environment.
